Softer than expected and smell of hay
The pellets are shaped like other pellet bedding, but are somewhat softer. They have a quite notable smell, but mostly of hay. They seem to take up liquid very well.
Downsides are that they crumble easily, already in the bag, and their quite astounding weight.
But all in all very usable.
